Meet our 2022 Leadership Team!
We are so excited to introduce our 2022 Leadership Team who will be planning a variety of events for Chicago Tar Heels, friends, and family this year. Please fill out our 2022 Events Survey to let us know which events you want to see this year! Our team has dozens of ideas, so filling out this survey will help us prioritize the events that YOU want to attend.
Rakela is our current Club Leader and works at Huron. She organizes the club’s chairs and our website and social media pages. When she’s not riding with the #UNCalumni Peloton hashtag, you can catch her with a blue cup at Joe’s.
Lexi is our current Game Watch Chair and works at Kantar. She organizes all our UNC game watches at Joe’s on Weed St. and helps us meet our annual scholarship fundraising goal.
Meredith is our current Arts Chair and works in nonprofit consulting at Campbell & Company. She is a lifelong lover of the arts and organizes opportunities for Tar Heels to enjoy Chicago’s vibrant arts and culture scene.
Liz is our Programming Chair and works in consulting. She organizes talks where people can bond over topics of shared interest. She also lived in China for a couple of years, loves trying new foods, and loves to do yoga.
Andrew graduated from UNC in 2017 with a degree in economics and currently serves as our club Social Chair. He has lived in Chicago since 2019 and works at Piper Sandler. Outside of work and his continued UNC fandom, Andrew is a foodie who enjoys exploring the city and trying new restaurants.
Eliza is our current Intramural/Co-Social Chair and she works as a Creative Strategist at Merkle. She helps organize the club’s intramural teams and schedule social events. She loves cheering on the Tar Heels and the Carolina Hurricanes as well as playing soccer and keeping up with friends/family back in NC.
